YOUNG LEADERS FORUM
With the mining industry currently facing a skills shortage, and a large emphasis on attracting and engaging the next generation of leaders, The Young Leaders Forum has been designed to encourage current students to pursue a career within the mining industry. This forum will include a student panel to discuss what industry needs to do to nurture and support young talent.
WOMEN IN MINING FOCUS
With the support of international and local Women in Mining associations, AusIMM WiMNet Victoria, Women in Mining Canada, and International Women in Mining, this year’s IMARC includes a one hour programme dedicated to female leaders within the mining industry. There will be an in depth look at how to overcome the challenges of attracting and retaining women in mining.
Each pitch battle within the power hour will see participants go head to head in front of leading investors or miners, pitching for feedback, investment, prizes and invitations for meetings and potential contracts.
The Collaboration Theatre is open to all attendees from delegates, to sponsors, speakers, investors and EXPO Pass holders throughout the Collaboration Theatre programme.
Please note that the Collaboration Theatre has a limited seating capacity of 150 seats, and attendance will be considered on the basis of first in – first serve.
