Ricardo Labó is a leading Peruvian expert in the mining sector with more than 19 years of management and advisory experience both at the private and public sectors in Peru, Latin America and Africa. He has vast expertise in the creative and innovative design of strategies and solutions to implement and manage government, policy, regulation, negotiation, engagement, institutional structure, corporate
social responsibility, communications and crisis management plans, with a strong balance and focus between the commercial, financial, technical and socio-political business aspects. He has held the positions of Vice Minister of Mines, Advisor to Vice Minister of Mines, and Director of Mining Promotion and Development of Peru. In the private sector he has had several managerial positions in Rio Tinto, Roche, Phelps Dodge and Grupo Apoyo. He is also the Executive Director of the Australia Peru Chamber of Commerce Inc (APCCI) and board member at the Canada-based junior mining company E29 Resources.
