Jadar Lithium Limited (ASX:JDR) is focused on exploration and development of mineral resource opportunities within the ‘battery metal’ sector. The company holds a 100% interest in 5 granted exploration projects located in Serbia, covering an area of approximately 328km2.
The Company’s projects are located in the region that is currently the only known source of Jadarite, a recently discovered lithium-borate bearing mineral (LiNaB3SiO7(OH)). The mineral was discovered within the world-class Jadar deposit held by Rio Tinto.
Jadar Lithium’s Serbian technical team has commenced with the initial exploration program on its licences, two of which are located in close proximity to Rio Tinto’s World-class Jadarite lithium borate deposit. The company will initially focus on target generation and is executing its maiden sampling program in 2018.
The company is also continuing to assess further advanced battery metal opportunities, which will be value accretive to all shareholders.
Plans & Latest Developments:
JDR has completed its planning for a maiden exploration program and the Company’s Serbian exploration team is commencing with the planned field activities. Initial field activities will focus on the Company’s Cer and Bukulja projects which are prospective for pegmatite hosted lithium and associated mineralisation deposits.
