SolGold (TSX: SOLG, LSE:SOLG) is focused on the discovery of world class copper-gold porphyries in Ecuador. SolGold owns 85% of the Cascabel Project, which has yielded significant intersections for porphyry copper-gold exploration. The project recently announced its Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for the Alpala deposit at Cascabel and the company will provide regular updates as more drill holes are assayed. SolGold has been strongly endorsed by Newcrest Mining, who own 14.54% of the company. SolGold has extensive exploration upside with 73 further concessions throughout Ecuador and aims to use the Cascabel blueprint to explore these regional areas through its four, 100% owned, subsidiaries.

Plans and Latest Developments:

SolGold has completed over 80,000m of drilling and has drill-tested 5 of the 15 copper-gold targets within the 50km2 concession. The project recently announced its Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for the Alpala deposit at Cascabel and the company will provide regular updates as more drill holes are assayed. Further drill testing at Alpala will focus on expanding and infilling the Alpala Central area, expanding the system at Alpala Northwest and Trivinio and testing extensions of the system at Alpala Southeast. Two diamond drill rigs are planned to mobilise at the Aguinaga Target for March 2018.
