Australian Mining is proud to be an official media partner for this year’s International Mining and Resources Conference 2018. Originally launched in 1908, Australian Mining is among the country’s leading (and longest-running) mining publications, informing readers of all the latest in technological innovations, new equipment and other industry happenings.

Australian Mining has a long history of attendance at IMARC, which is located close by the team’s head office in Melbourne. The Australian Mining brand is one of the most respected and well-known mining media brands in the country, operating across print, digital and events. It encompasses a monthly print magazine, daily online news content (which also reaches over 31,000 subscribers via the daily Australian Mining eNewsletter) and the annual Australian Mining Prospect Awards held in Sydney.

First launched in 2004, and now celebrating its 15th anniversary, the Prospect Awards is run and organised by Australian Mining parent company Prime Creative Media. It was created to recognise the endeavours of the best and brightest of Australia’s world-renowned mining industry, from small startups through to major mining companies.

Recently, Australian Mining has expanded further with the launch of Safe to Work, a new sister publication exploring everything related to safety, “the first priority of the Australian mining industry”. Encompassing a quarterly print publication, regular online news content and weekly eNewsletter, Safe to Work is dedicated to exploring the latest developments around safety issues related to mining, including technology and equipment, PPE, workforce management and much more.

“IMARC is an important event for Melbourne and the Australian mining industry at large,” said Australian Mining journalist Ewen Hosie. “We look forward to a prosperous event in 2018.”
