Aaron Carter is the Inventor of the Spidler concept and a Co-Director of specialist consulting companies Sandpit Innovation and ImpRes Global. Aaron came up with the idea of the Spidler while consulting with Fortescue Metals Group. He negotiated the initial prototype commercials and oversaw the design, build and testing of the prototype at Port Hedland.
With a background in Maintenance, Engineering Asset Management and Business, Aaron has 19 years of experience focused predominately in industrial innovation; from short term business improvement initiatives spanning people, process and systems, to developing and managing long term research and development programs. He held a number of site based operational and leadership roles before moving into consulting. Aaron has a Mechanic Trade, is a post graduate in Asset Management and holds a Master of Business Administration. He loves to work with clients to drive improvement and innovation that is focused on value-add, pushing the edge of how we work, what we work on and how we create competitive advantage.
