Ahmad is a PhD student from the University of Western Australia. He considers himself an explorer, having spent 10 years in some of the most challenging places in the world looking for mineral deposits. Despite this, he has spent the last few years studying to be something quite the opposite: an economist. But instead of working on his PhD, he spends far too much of his time hosting the Exploration Radio podcast – a podcast on exploration and explorers. Currently he is part of a mineral exploration start-up exploring in Eastern Greenland – an excellent way for him to get subsidised trips to Greenland.
Ahmad Saleem, PhD Candidate from the University of Western Australia, joined a students panel on what we think industry needs to do to nurture and support young talent at IMARC 2018. Download the programme to see who is speaking this year.
