Bert Koth is a Managing Director, responsible for origination, analysis, structuring and execution of mining investments for Denham Capital. He joined Denham Capital in 2008. Prior to joining Denham, Bert worked at BHP Billiton in business development, and at ING Barings, and Deutsche Bank in their metals and mining corporate finance teams.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of African focused mineral platform Pangea, Auctus Minerals and Pembroke Resources. He has been working in the metals and mining industry for 18 years and lived, travelled and worked in a wide range of countries, including South Africa, Guinea, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Brazil and many others. Bert received a graduate degree and a PhD in Business Administration from the Vienna University of Economics, Austria. He speaks English, German, French, Spanish and Russian.
