Catriona Beadel has worked in the Mining Industry since the start of her career in 2010. Catriona Beadel has a BSc (Geology) and an MSc (Metals and Energy Finance). Catriona Beadel joined Rio Tinto as Principal Advisor in July 2017, where she sits on the Ventures team.
During her career, Catriona Beadel has held a variety of roles in both the technical and financial spheres. She has held positions in exploration and resource geology, transitioning to investment analyst roles with asset managers and private equity funds. She has worked in Australia as well as in the UK and Africa.
Catriona Beadel is a director of Young Mining Professionals UK, which she founded in 2017, and sits on the International Board. Catriona Beadel is a committee member of the Association of Mining Analysts, and is also on the Advisory Board of Mines and Money London.
