Christine is with the Mineral & Metal Resources and Energy Division of Mitsui & Co. Australia.

Christine has over 40 years experience in the Australian mining sector in trading, investment, and joint venture management. She plays an active role in developing networks for global Mitsui as a member of cross-functional teams tasked with finding resources opportunities in Australia, South East Asia and South America.
Christine has had the opportunity to visit many upstream and downstream facilities in Australia and overseas including mines, refineries, smelters, galvanizers, extruders, battery manufacturers and cable manufacturers.
This has not only contributed to Christine’s global knowledge of the resources sector and its customers, but also the unique cultures of many countries.
Through her extensive travels she has witnessed the positive impacts the industry brings to individuals, and communities, reinforcing her belief in mining as an important economic contributor.
Christine is a member of the LME Downunder committee, the Melbourne Women’s Fund and the AusIMM’s WIMnet.
