Denzyl Moncrieff is an Aboriginal Geologist working for Rio Tinto Iron Ore in the exploration team. His mother is a Nyoongar and his Father is a Yamatji. He spent his younger days camping, fishing and hunting with his family where he developed a passion for rocks and the outdoors. He was introduced to geology by his high school science teacher and went on to study a BSc (Applied Geology) at Curtin University. He has traveled to almost 40 countries around the world and is an avid photographer and guitarist.
