Harrison is currently in his third year of a Bachelor of Mining Engineering at Monash University. He grew up in Orange, NSW, before moving to Melbourne in 2017 to study. Harrison spent time working as a geotechnical engineer in the civil and mining industry. He now proudly calls himself a mining engineer and has become an active member of AusImm and the Monash University Resources Engineering Student Society.
