Jason Chang is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of EMR Capital, and a member of its Investment Committee.
Prior to EMR Capital, Jason was the Head of the Asia Practice for KPMG in Australia, responsible for all Asian based transactions, projects and Asian corporate clients. Jason has spent a significant part of his career, on the ground in China, assisting Chinese state and private owned enterprises acquire metals and mining projects globally, working with major Chinese resources companies, investors, commodity end users and government. Jason also has considerable experience in the Indonesian and Indian markets, where he successfully led significant investments and established joint ventures.
Jason is a member of the Board of Commissioners and Executive Committee of PT Agincourt Resources, the owner and operator of the Martabe gold and silver mine located in North Sumatra, Indonesia.
Jason was the President of the Australia China Business Council (Victorian Branch) and a member of its Board of Directors from 2008 -2015 and remains a Committee Member of the Victorian Branch. He graduated from Monash University (Australia) with Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Law and Masters in Law.
