Kirsty Danby has 20 years’ experience in the corporate communications and public relations arenas. She has worked as an in-house consultant for BHP, Woodside Energy and Alcoa and is now the Founding Director of Platform Communications where she provides strategic communications, issues management and stakeholder engagement advice to clients across mining, oil & gas and government.
Her extensive industry experience ensures she understands industry impacts and issues and knows how to best manage and communicate to stakeholders to avoid public and political debate, protest or actions that might cause project development delays or reputation impact.
Kirsty is currently Chairman of Curtin University’s Board of Humanities, President of the WA Mining Club and on the Boards of Solaris Cancer Care and the Petroleum Club of WA. She is also the Chairman for AOG Diversity & Inclusion.
