Kym Fullgrabe is Senior Trade Commissioner Sub-Saharan Africa based in Johannesburg. Kym Fullgrabe leads Australian Government activities across Africa in the promotion of trade, investment and education with a team of 8 business development staff in Johannesburg, Accra, Nairobi and Port Louis. Prior to this position, Kym Fullgrabe was Senior Trade Commissioner and Consul General based in Sao Paulo.
Before joining the Australian Trade Commission in 2009, Kym Fullgrabe spent 12 years as the Managing Director of a private investment and consulting company with business interests in Australia, Brazil, China, Russia, USA and central Europe.
Kym Fullgrabe has also held Senior Executive Service positions in the Industry Ministry of the Australian Federal Government, served on the Boards of companies and government organisations and has worked at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development in Paris.
Kym Fullgrabe has a B.Sc (Hons) and commenced his working career as a medical physicist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, Australia. Kym Fullgrabe speaks English and Portuguese.
