Nic Pollock is Chief Commercial Officer for K2fly, an ASX listed software and services company addressing the asset intensive sectors of Resources and Utilities in particular. Nic has 25 Years’ experience in enterprise technologies commencing at NATWEST Bank in the UK in the early nineties followed by technology majors like Oracle in Sydney. In moving back to Perth in 2004 Nic joined Gemcom Software as VP Asia Pac, which was the beginning of 15 years’ experience bringing software technologies to the Resources Industry. Firstly via Gemcom which was later acquired by Carlyle and then Dassault, then President of Asia Pac for Mincom, Australia’s largest homegrown software company which was then acquired by ABB. Nic then focused on more boutique resources focus by joining the Executive team of Snowden Mining Consultants and transforming Snowden Technologies and the TSG who are experts in data analytics and simulation technologies before they were acquired by Boston Consulting.
Before K2fly Nic spent two and a half years with ASX listed fintech Decimal as CEO. K2fly has allowed Nic to combine two passions of bringing innovative software to the resources industry and sustainability. K2flys software delivers innovative ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) solutions to the resources industry.
On top of Nic’s undergraduate in BA (Econs) at UWA he also has done Postgrad studies in Corporate Sustainability with NYU (Stern) and is GRI certified and a graduate of the AICD.
