Richard Marsh leads ABB’s Mining business in West Australia. Providing solutions that encompass digitalisation, automation, robotics and electrification.
Richard has 25 years’ experience utilising latest technologies to improve business performance. His industry experience spans mining, oil & gas, construction, utilities along with liquor and gaming.
He has delivered significant technology projects in conjunction with major mining, banking and gaming organisations.
Richard was a foundation manager with Microsoft in WA and NSW, gaining knowledge in how to facilitate exponential growth from a low market share to a global dominant position within five years. He has also had leadership technology roles with ABB, Gartner, Optus and TAB.
He serves as a board member and vice chair of the globally renowned Busselton Medical Research Institute. It has, for 53 years, conducted over 450 collaborative population health research projects and provides factual insight into elements that effect lifespan and the quality of life.
