Mr. William Wang possesses a strong and detailed understanding of the Asian economy and its links with Saskatchewan’s key sectors. With over 20 years of business development and international business experience, William has led and supported numerous senior level trade and investment missions to Asia. William has successfully led or coordinated many projects between Canada and Asia and currently manages the Ministry’s economic cooperation with Asian companies and government organizations.
William has experience working with many international companies and government agencies both in Canada and Asia including Sinopec (China), Saskatchewan Industry and Resources, the City of Regina, the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency, Enterprise Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan Executive Council, Saskatchewan Ministry of the Economy, and, currently, the Saskatchewan Ministry of the Trade and Export Development.
William holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a Master’s Degree in Science from the University of Regina, as well as a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Tianjin University of Commerce in China. He is also a designated Project Management Professional (PMP).
